Renew Insurance and Road Tax Via MyEG Services

Assalamualaikum & Salam Ramadhan Al Mubarak 2018

Entry kali ni a bit difference than the other posts. It is about how to renew your insurance policy and road tax... just in a blink of eyes. Magic!!! 

1. Register at MyEG through this link https://www.myeg.com.my/login and log in pada ruangan yang disediakan dengan menggunakan ID dan PASSWORD yang telah anda setkan. Click LOGIN. Refer below for further details :

2. Then, click on JABATAN PENGANGKUTAN JALAN (JPJ) untuk services diatas. For other services please refer below :

3. Reminder : Before renewing your road tax you have to make sure that you have a valid insurance for your car and the driver. So, click on tab AUTO INSURANCE RENEWAL (2 from your left) as below :

4. Page akan menunjukkan paparan beberapa insurance services yang ditawarkan melalui portal ini. This sound interesting (Banyak la interesting. Ingat pilih insurance boleh main2... hehehe). Click on your preferred insurance provider and follow the instructions. 

Step yang ni the crucial one sebab you need to have all the information regarding your vehicles in hand such as i. Engine no, ii. chassis no, iii. Model of your car and etc. if not, your renewal cannot be done. For this step I am lucky to have a copy of my previous insurance policy in hand. So, I just fill up the information based on the paper.

5. PAYMENT. After dah submit details untuk insurance, boleh click submit and system akan automatically calculate insurance total contribution. We can pay either through credit card or online banking. Canggih! (Yang ni kalau selalu shopping online, kalau tak tahu orang Pahang kata, ah pedooh tak tahu)

6. Selesai bayar then kita proceed to the next step, which is ROAD TAX RENEWAL. Yang ni lagi simple and senang. Hanya perlukan basic informations aje. 

7. Get back to STEP NO 3 but this time click on tab no 2 on the right until it show like this :

Fill up all your informations and click proceed. Boleh pilih to collect at MyEG office dekat Bandar Utama, KL atau home/office delivery (Allow 2 - 3 of working days ye). Payment is similar to the previous step. Make sure you have both receipt for your payment for further use.

8. DONE!!! Tunggu je lah roadtax ngko sampai. Aku pun tengah tunggu ni roadtax sampai rumah. hahahah
